About Solvigil
Solvigil is a brand of solar 4G cameras for places with no power line and no Wi-Fi. The name joins sol, the sun, and vigil, keeping watch.
What we do
We supply solar-powered cameras that connect over a mobile data SIM directly from the factory to resellers, importers, CCTV installers and larger farms. We start with Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana and plan to add Spanish-speaking Latin America and French-speaking Africa.
Where the cameras are made
Our cameras are built by a network-camera manufacturer with plants in Shenzhen, China, and Vietnam. From its 2026 catalogue: 25,000 m² of production area, 10 SMT lines and 12 assembly lines, 45 R&D engineers, 89 patents, monthly capacity of about 600,000 units, and 13 years of experience. The factory holds ISO 9001 quality system, ISO 14001 environmental system, amfori BSCI audit, National High-Tech Enterprise (2023). Its cameras run on the Tuya platform, so they work with the Tuya Smart and Smart Life apps.

Quality control
Each model goes through the factory’s staged process: product requirements, design, engineering and design validation tests with quality testing in between, then mass production with incoming, final and outgoing quality checks (IQC, FQC, OQC). For your order you can send your own inspector or ask for a video inspection before shipment.
How we work
- A band version for each country. A 4G camera that does not support the local bands never connects. We ship a version per market and print it on the carton.
- Clear specifications. Panel watts, battery capacity and standby time are the factory figures, and we say what they mean: standby without sun, not hours of live viewing.
- Market-level prices. Our wholesale list sits level with comparable factory listings, so resellers keep a normal margin.
- No claims we cannot back. We do not say a model is approved in a country until we hold the approval, and pictures made with an image model are labelled as illustrations.
